{"id":124,"date":"2017-01-31T22:56:17","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T04:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dgnal.net\/portfolio\/?page_id=124"},"modified":"2024-09-16T14:29:24","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T19:29:24","slug":"my-teaching","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dgnal.net\/portfolio\/my-teaching\/","title":{"rendered":"Teaching Opportunities &#038; Practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There have been various opportunities personal, professional, and academically in which I&#8217;ve had the privilege of sharing thoughts and teaching adults. \u00a0Here are a few examples of them which don&#8217;t necessarily incorporate all of my thoughts on Adult Educational Techniques but were adapted to the audience\/environment.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em><strong>Professional<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <u>New Product Introduction<\/u> video to internal Sales &amp; possible customers. \u00a0While still adhering to corporate standards regarding length &amp; look; I was able to incorporate a way to, again and again, highlight the problems that individuals might be<br \/>\nhaving in the field and then propose a product solution to that problem. \u00a0In this way, it was hoped that this video would incorporate Knowles&#8217; principles of:<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 15px;\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hazlux\u00ae Hazardous LED Lighting New Product Overview\" width=\"320\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JXpP8cOHjFY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8211; Depends on needs<br \/>\n&#8211; Problem centered focus<br \/>\n&#8211; Need to know why<\/p>\n<p><br pagebreak=\"always\"><br pagebreak=\"always\"><br pagebreak=\"always\"><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><strong>Personal<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0This is the secondary need\/use for AET within my life. I often interact with adults through <u>Spiritual sermons<\/u> in which Christian Apologetic topics were discussed, analyzed, and presented. I want to incorporate more of an early synagogue type lesson in which a scripture was read and then discussed amongst the group (typically smaller number of people); the problem is overcoming the modern style of just &#8216;one-sided&#8217; discussion (typically a larger number of people).
